Advice from Our Mummy Bloggers

We take pride in how great our school uniforms are, not only for their quality but also durability, fit and fantastically low prices. This year, we’ve asked some of our favourite mummy bloggers, to give us their advice on all different aspects of school uniform.
This week we’re asking… What is more important, quality or value, and why?
Kate, who writes the Five F’s blog says – I think it’s a bit of both. Value is no good if it doesn’t give you quality really. I tend to go for the value end but I do consider if I also think it will last and if I don’t think it’s reasonable quality, I won’t buy it. It varies for different items – I make sure my son’s trousers are more durable because my daughter has skirts, pinafores, trousers AND summer dresses so get worn less.
Elle, who writes Notes From Home says I always look for quality because it is important that the uniform lasts. I have boys who love football and rough and tumble and they are hard on their uniform!
Cathy, who writes NutureStore.co.uk says School uniforms need to be affordable but quality is the most important thing for me. That way theres more chance of the uniform lasting long enough to be handed down to little sisters, giving me extra value for money.
Amy who writes and 1 more means four says Value
Jo who writes Jo Beaufoix says For me as a single parent, value is pretty important. At the rate my kids grow, chances are they will only be wearing their uniform for a year or less, especially as they have summer and winter uniform, so while I want good quality I do look for a bargain.
