Lauren Conrad Working on New Book Series and Fashion Line

Lauren Conrad has been keeping busy since the series finale of “The Hills,” revealing that she’s working on pitching a new book series, launching an upscale fashion line and may have some TV projects in the works.

The former reality star’s first book L.A. Candy was a No. 1 bestseller on the New York Times list and the follow-up to the novel, Sweet Little Lies, hit bookshelves earlier this year. L.C. has also written a book on style that is set to be released in the fall of 2010. “I’m writing up a pitch right now for my new series because I just finished my last one,” L.C. disclosed while at the Las Vegas hotspot TAO.

L.C. already has an affordable clothing line that is featured in Kohl’s department stores but is still furthering her career in fashion. “I’m starting a clothing line with one of my best friends, a contemporary line.”
